Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information 4wp.dev (“we”, “us”) collects, how we use it, and how you can control it. 4wp.dev is operated by Anatoliy Dovgun. Contact: adovgun@gmail.com.

1. Visitors of 4wp.dev

When you browse 4wp.dev, our server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser, pages visited, time) for security and performance. We use Google Analytics (via Google Site Kit) to understand which pages are useful; it sets cookies and processes data as described in the Google Privacy Policy. If you send us a message through a form, we keep your name, email and message only to answer you. We do not sell personal data.

Pages with embedded YouTube videos load the YouTube player, which is provided by YouTube and governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

2. YouTube API Services

4wp.dev uses YouTube API Services to publish our own videos to our own YouTube channel from the WordPress admin of 4wp.dev, using our 4WP Social plugin. By using these features you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy (http://www.google.com/policies/privacy).

What we access

Only a site administrator can connect a YouTube channel, through Google’s OAuth consent screen. We request these scopes:

• youtube.upload: to upload videos to the connected channel;
• youtube.force-ssl: to set the video thumbnail and captions, and to read the processing status of videos we uploaded.

We do not read, collect or store data about YouTube viewers, subscribers, comments or any other channel.

What we store and why

• OAuth tokens (access and refresh token) and the connected channel name: stored encrypted in the 4wp.dev database, used only to upload videos the administrator chose to publish.
• Upload results: the YouTube video ID, URL and publishing status, stored with the matching post on 4wp.dev so the site can link to and embed the video.

This data is never shared with third parties, sold, or used for advertising.

How to revoke access

Access can be revoked at any time in two ways: the Disconnect button in 4WP Social → Accounts on 4wp.dev, or the Google security settings page at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.

Data retention and deletion

OAuth tokens are deleted from our database immediately when the account is disconnected. If access is revoked on Google’s side, the stored tokens stop working at once and are deleted on the next disconnect or on request. Stored YouTube video IDs and URLs are removed when the post they belong to is deleted. To request deletion of any data we hold, email adovgun@gmail.com; we complete requests within 30 days.

3. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, and you can object to its processing. Write to adovgun@gmail.com.

4. Changes

We will update the date at the top of this page whenever this policy changes.
